Dani Osvaldo put the Italians in front on 28 minutes but Bendtner levelled things up on the stroke of half-time. The forward looked to have won it with a goal 11 minutes from time but Alberto Aquilani stole a draw for the visitors in the 91st minute.
Mesut OzilGermanyMesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker Germany 3-0 Republic of Ireland, Friday, October 11 Sweden v Germany, Tuesday, October 15 Mesut Ozil marked his 50th international cap with a goal in the last minute to round off a 3-0 win for Germany over Republic of Ireland. Per Mertesacker also played the full 90 minutes as Joachim Low's side sealed their place at the finals in 2014.
Olivier GiroudFranceOlivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny France 6-0 Australia, Friday, October 11 France v Finland, Tuesday, October 15 Olivier Giroud scored a brace as France thrashed Australia in a friendly match on Friday night. Frank Ribery gave France an early lead from the spot before Giroud scored two goals in nine first-half minutes, including a terrific curling effort with his right foot. Yohan Cabaye, Mathieu Debuchy and Karim Benzema added further goals to complete a comprehensive win for Didier Deschamps' side.
Jack WilshereEnglandJack Wilshere, Kieran GibbsEngland 4-1 Montenegro, Friday, October 11 England v Poland, Tuesday, October 15 Jack Wilshere came on in the 80th minute as England edged a step closer to automatic qualification for the World Cup with a 4-1 win over Montenegro at Wembley. Wayne Rooney put the home side ahead three minutes into the second half before Branko Boscovic scored an own goal in the 62nd minute. Dejan Damjanovic pulled one back for the visitors with just under 20 minutes to go but a superb Andros Townsend drive and a Daniel Sturridge penalty gave Roy Hodgson's team three crucial points.
Thomas Vermaelen was an unused substitute as Belgium qualified for the World Cup with a 2-1 win over Croatia in Zagreb. Two first-half strikes from Romelu Lukaku put the visitors ahead before Nico Kranjcar pulled one back seven minutes from time.

Carl Jenkinson played 90 minutes at left-back as England Under-21s eased to a 4-0 win over San Marino Under-21s in their European Championship qualifier. Michael Keane put Gareth Southgate's team in front after five minutes and Harry Kane doubled the lead from the spot in first-half stoppage time. The Tottenham forward netted two more goals in the second half to complete the win to send England second in Group 1, just one point behind Finland.

Andriy Yarmolenko netted the winner after 63 minutes.

Nacho MonrealSpainNacho Monreal Spain 2-1 Belarus, Friday, October 11 Spain v Finland, Tuesday, October 15 Nacho Monreal played 45 minutes in Spain's hard-fought 2-1 win over Belarus on Friday. Second-half goals from Xavi and Alvaro Negredo gave the hosts a two-goal cushion before Sergey Kornilenko netted a consolation with just a minute remaining.
